The inaugural Strategic Youth Leadership Program (SYLP) was a remarkable afternoon of insightful discussions, meaningful engagement, and knowledge sharing. Organised by the Centre for Law and Security Studies (CLASS) in collaboration with the High Commission of Canada in Sri Lanka and Maldives, the programme brought together distinguished diplomats, academics, policy practitioners, and a select group of undergraduate and postgraduate students to explore Sri Lanka's Middle-Power Diplomacy in an Evolving Global Context. From thought-provoking panel discussions to valuable networking opportunities, the event provided participants with fresh perspectives on diplomacy, strategic leadership, and the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
